Enduroman: Festival of Triathlon, 5th-6th Feb 2011

Enduroman have found the prefect place for the Enduroman Festival of Triathlon. A place to break away from the long winter nights and to compete alongside the worlds best Ultra Triathletes "creating a festival atmosphere never to be forgotten".Playa Blanca in the Municipo of Yaiza is situated in the south of Lanzarote on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and has everything that a triathlete and the family needs.

After 3 successful years of staging the Double and Triple Enduroman Triathlons in Staffordshire, UK. Enduroman are  introducing the Festival of triathlon on Lanzarote as the place to go in the winter to escape from the long winter nights and enjoy your sport. Lanzarote's 1st Festival of Triathlon will incorporate a Double Enduroman, Enduroman, Half Enduroman and Olympic Enduroman.

FESTIVAL EVENT START TIMES:

Double Enduroman: Saturday 08:00. Swim 4.8 Miles. Bike 224 Miles. Run 52 Miles

Enduroman: Saturday 09:30. Swim 2.4 Miles. Bike 112 Miles. Run 26 Miles

Half Enduroman: Saturday 12:30. Swim 1.2 Miles. Bike 56 Miles. Run 13 Miles

Olympic Enduroman: Saturday 14:00. Swim 1.5 kms. Bike 40 kms. Run 10.2 kms

CANCELLATION POLICY: If competitors cancel after 30th October 2010: No Refund

PARTICIPANTS: Must have a minimum age 21 years to enter the Double Enduroman on day of event or 18 years to participate in the other events.

WINNER PRIZE: 1st Place: Male and Female in each of the festival events
Free entry to any event in the 2012 Enduroman Festival of Triathlon Lanzarote

AWARDS:Finishing t-shirts and medals to all competitors.     

SWIM STAGE: The swim will be laps

The swim will take place on a lap course, in the Atlantic Ocean, on the shores  below Hotel Calimera in Playa Blanca Yaiza.

CYCLE STAGE: The cycle stage is laps

The course is out and back from race centre in Playa Blanca and takes in some of Yaiza’s spectacular coastline and volcanoes.

RUN STAGE: The run stage is laps                         

The run stage is a short lap course, with the main aid station and athlete support located at the race centre.

TRANSITION AREA: There are two transitions areas and they will be located in the race centre 150m from the swim start/finish.

MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE: The fully trained bike mechanic from Mas Deportes will be on-site to look after all your mechanical needs during the Festival.

MEDICAL COVER:                                                                                       There will be the medical cover in charge of the event.
Their staff, vehicles and equipment mean they can provide advanced life support and primary care in all environments.

MASSAGE:                                                                                        Enduroman will be providing free sports massage for athletes during the bike and  run stages.
